Rarely do I involve myself in world affairs, but when Russia and China are on one side and we are about to back the other side, that is a formula for a war that none of U.S. will be on a winning side...

Does anybody besides me see, That Syria like many other middle east states will never be free, And do you all notice what may be coming, A third world war with nuclear capability will have us all numbing… We think we are far enough away in the states, To not be affected by nuclear tipped bombs, But the world all over this time could feel higher radioactive rates, To all that believe this to be possibly true , raise to God our palms… The end of the world as we know it “could” change, Why do we in the U.S. have to be the “police” of the earth, For this situation there is not time for mirth, No more children could in the future find birth, Don’t worry about adjusting your affairs, As our world may soon become just a burned out cinder, No longer will we have any future heirs, And there will be little if any clean to breathe air… © ed – 8/30/13

YUP! The whole of Britain is with you on this. And we diss your govt. slights on us as being immature and not worthy to be dignified with respect.

England sees things with clear eyes and not with, gun ho fixes, anything eyes.

The yanky govt does not represent its peoples.

Thank gosh we have the wisdom to keep out as with Nam. I guess it's a commerce imposed financial war.

America must stand off and try to think about the consequences of helping those that in turn will still hate America and use the American weapons against America.

Wise fears, but largely unfounded. Having been there and knowing the number of people from the region, Middle Eastern people, in spite of religious fanaticism (we have that here in the United States too��some people play with rattlesnakes religiously), they are very much like us and have all the same values. One country that I can think of that went through hell and is back except for Hezbollah is Lebanon. I had a good friend from Turkey once, and believe me, Turkey is not a country that is beyond fixing.

As for nuclear war, don't wish for it. Your wish may come true.

Where was the Outrage when Bush and his War Mongers led us into over 10 bloody years of war in the Middle East, at a cost of Billions of Dollars, and Far Too Many American Soldiers' Lives - and with no resolution today.

Perhaps someone with a really powerful TV STATION should broadcast the old movie "THE DAY AFTER" ... 24-7 ... Throughout the entire world ?
