...when reading this, you'll know who it is about, I'm sure...

His bike a used Huffy,
Its tires needed repair,
And the seat was beat,
Altogether it rode fine but looked kinda scruffy…

To ride it he has wanted to,
But since his long stay in the hospital,
He has found that he still has to some extent,
Balance issues, and cannot take one leg off the ground,
So to mount his bike he is worried that he might fall,
For now he can wait & ride again later on, for it he is hell bent…

He has wanted to ride as the weather has cooperated,
It’s been kind of cool, not like normal NJ summer weather,
No super hot days and not much cooler nights,
No high humidity, his air conditioning working just right…

The end of July is in sight,
So August could be much hotter,
But still he has this equilibrium problem,
He is still gonna ride eventually, against his physical ailments he will fight…

Usually he is happy to just stay inside,
Since he can’t go out for a ride,
But found he did a cycling trail not far away,
It would be a perfect place to ride when he is able,
Just a while longer till he feels much more stable…
