Robin did die today at age 63,
From his life he wanted to be free,
His depression was not well known,
But now his cover of humor & comedy has been blown…
A great humorist was he,
I would strive to like him be,
He had somehow achieved the key,
I on the other hand will forever respect his Chi…
Robin was very unique. I never liked the quirky, adolescent comedy of Mork, but much of his work was pure genius.
Your last line reminded me of that strangely beautiful movie, What Dreams May Come. Perhaps he thought by ending his life he would enter a place like that where his troubled mind would find peace and tranquility.

I always liked his acting, and he seemed like a sweet man.
It's sad, what can lie beneath the surface. There has been suicide in my family, and it is such a hard thing for the family to endure.
Real peace comes through a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. We can pray for his family now and remember him as an uplifting friend of all.

Depression is something that no one, not even Robin Williams himself, can understand. It can hit people of all ages. That is why we should never mock, poke fun, make jokes of another person ; or pretend to know all about the other persom and tell him/her how to live his/her life.
Every person is fighting an inner battle of some sort that cannot be judged by another. Robins wife and children may never understand why. You are right the media should just leave them alone for now to grieve -for as long as they need to. They so need the time to be left alone!!!
May heaven's door be opened widely to welcome Robin Williams home, and he will find peace and happiness with our Father in heaven, and the angels are surrounding this wonderful spirit who had brought so much joy into yhis world.

Totally with you on this, Ed. Robin was one of those characters who leaves a great hole in the world. May he now find all that was missing from his mortal life.
