On the beach I did walk,
To Mom Ocean I did talk,
Nobody else about to of my conversation balk,
All I did was to at the ocean gawk…
Sat near where the ocean touched the land,
Watching two seagulls playing in the sand,
The ocean quite calm without hint of a wave,
All I could do with today was quite frankly rave…
Good for you pal
I love walking on the beach it's always been very inspirational to me
I love writing about the ocean, lakes and rivers, I remember once when I was a bit younger, I witness the damnedest vision ever, I saw a seagull from high in the clear blue sky, not dive just fell to the sand I went to investigate and observered no blood, no obvious injuries. So I concluded even seagulls die of heart attacks
Peace be with you
Oh how I miss the sea! I lived my whole life near the coast until I came here - Now it's too far away and visits are very rare.

I'm glad you got your fix at the beach and pleased that it lifted your spirits. I know how much you love it, buddy. We'd love to take that trip with you again on the ferry. What was the name of that body of water we crossed? Hudson Bay? I miss the ocean. I haven't seen it except through an airplane window in well over a decade. There's nothing quite like standing on the shore gawking at the waves caressing the sand.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
From the Caribbean Sea to Machu Picchu in Peru, and from birds to flowers and butterflies, Reflections and Treasured Wonders offers a collection of images gathered from around the world.
Always,
Deborah
