Halloween…a fearful night
Of goblins, ghouls and ghosts, we fear
Their night to scare is almost here,
A demon fiend comes to frighten,
On this night, the child inside us of ten,
The woods of night bring forth a fearsome fright,
For me, even in my half century of life,
Darkness still keeps me in the light,
Not withstanding, even the brightness of a flashlight,
Does little to strengthen my mind against this gruesome blight.
