The Tennant...

Something a bit darker from the dusty & moldy old attic I call my brain...ed

The Tennant…

He came from nowhere in particular,

Just traveling & moving on, or so he said,

He moved in on the thirteenth,

An unlucky day for some,

His rent he did post, in advance

He did like to hum,

A little ditty to do with death,

He said it kept it away,

But still he did meth,

To speed up his day.

He stayed out of sight,

Only interacted with those,

His special list did require,

He learned what he could,

And told them that they should,

Have their affairs together,

Then replaced his hood.

For per him, their time fast approached,

He did so with the sympathy of a coach,

His scrutiny over them,

Made them feel as though,

They were an egg getting poached.

They died and he disappeared,

Was he, at all, there?

Since he was not for me,

Do I really care?
