Even in Canada...

Atrocious behavior, it seems, even exists in what has been considered by this writer as one of the better societies...ed

EVEN in CANADA,

A young lady of our acquaintance,

Has of late lost her means of conveyance,

Due to the inconsiderate, degenerate, anti-social behavior,

Of one who seems to feel no regard for another’s property.

Grand theft auto in the vernacular of the States,

Comes with a slap on the wrist, & a short prison term,

For those of us with little wherewithal,

In his heart there should be a stake,

For that car, while a means to an end for that felon,

Is to all of us, freedom from the bonds of “taking the bus” slavery,

Or walking to work or the store in the worst of weather,

But to the felon, money he may get for parts, especially if it has leather.

I say even in Canada above, as I had thought that the degeneracy’s there,

Seem to be less intense and less pronounced than they are elsewhere,

But I supposed that even in societies that are the best,

There will be found, people, sub-humans we would consider less.

I am in high hopes that this certain young lady,

Finds her means of conveyance with little damage or none,

And that retribution will be swift with no regard, as the felon has shown,

For the felons feelings, psychological makeup, or how he was raised,

He did it himself, not his parents, nor his use of drugs, if that is the case,

So let him take responsibility for that, which he has done, now, on this earth,

Not later when he dies and goes to face his maker & show him no dearth…
