Immolate...

While Mz. Kate takes a day of rest, let all the ones still alive, decipher a way to end her maniacal rampage...

Immolate…

While Kate takes her weekly sabbatical,

An interesting word as it is the Sabbath,

I will delve into the dark arts for once,

And hope that she doesn’t see,

Where aimed they are to be…

I think those poets of you that are left,

Should ban together and vanquish this imp,

She is only an imp of Satan,

She has not his power, so never fear,

He will be happy to see her join his ranks,

When sacrificed by the few left, she becomes…

But how to destroy her, without her realizing,

Is the question that is before us at this time,

She has “some” power, that is for certain,

She wields it over her family; they are her creation,

Let us think long and hard on a cure,

For her lengthy “cereal” killing ways, so sure…

Maybe the sacrifice should include parts of all the others,

Maybe their writes, or a lock of hair from each,

All bound together so that she is also tied for eternal life,

In the presence of her master, her reason for all this strife,

But if you can think of a better way, to make her regret,

Then get together with the few that are left,

And tell them how to avoid Kate’s wrath,

As I can no longer help you, I am part & parcel,

Of the Dead Poet’s Society; only here as an advisor, to tell.

I'm only mummified...she didn't actually kill me! I'm still struggling trying to loosen the 'ties that bind'..or so to speak. This is most assuredly something to think about!
Very well done Ed. Lisa
