Inspired by my calico
Sprawled on the purple velvet Of a lounged chaise Beneath the wide leaves Of her faithful servants She watches her kingdom In comforts of leisure While those she rules Work themselves fiercely No anguish is felt By her royal person Only joy and passion In the heat of the sun Anger doesn't build By her working people For one such as she Is considered a God

I love cats. This reminds me of one that I know who goes by the name of mittens. She looks a little different than this but she has the attitude! Fine writing! You have done your cat proud!
