When I turned the handle And opened the door. There was a woman Lying on the floor. She was more dead I feared, As I looked at her face. Her eyes never moved- Her breath not a trace. I tried to revive her- It was to no avail. A young girl lies dead- All my efforts failed. In her clinched hand A note I found. "Please don't pity me, My life is now unwound."
