Waking to the noise of thoughts,

Sleepless though they be.

Piecing them together

Is the job made for me.

I'm not the master of words,

Leaving my poetry quite simple.

The thought can be complex,

If the reader breaks the pimple.

I am surprised at times

At the comments I receive.

Each reader sees a different picture

Than the one I perceive.

That's the fun of poetry,

Reading between the lines.

No comment is wrong;

The reader is right to define.

Understanding the poem from the
writer's view is not a must..but
what is appreciated is what one
perceives it to be in their
comments *George* well written!

I agree, George. We share our thoughts through our verses and leave it to the reader to "react" and to hopefully, enjoy the experience. Love and peace to you,
