Pain is help for the poor souls,

Who need our prayers and offerings

If it is given to God on their behalf.

Remember this and they will remember you.

There are all kinds of pain in this world

Which are too numerous to list.

But we all have them sometimes.

Offer them for a friend or loved one.

But don't forget those souls who have

No one to pray for them when they die.

It's simple to do, and can become a habit-

That all our earthly pain be put to good use.
