Riding the tail of the dragon,

To visualize what is being swept by.

Need nothing to cloud my reasoning,

As I see it as it is and not diluted.

Who will question what I describe,

In detail as it happens, no lies?

I see the improbable being swept away

By the flick of a tail that is always moving.

It seems the tongue is the best weapon

For those who rely on shading the truth.

When called a name, lost is retribution,

As it becomes self serving to those that listen.

Oh how the truth is spoken here George...
The tongue can be a mighty sword smiting others
down in fury and lies... I know the feeling of
being smite down by someone else, leaving me in
pain and sorrow...

Excellent!

Love and Light,
Lily

The truth is spoken by different tongues and heard by different ears. It's a wonder that we communicate at all with all our fears.

I've heard it said, "Speak the truth even though your voice may shake." This, George, is one of your best!

Love ya!

I'm reminded of the words of a philosopher here...'The only truth is that there are no absolute truths'...and as writers we are allowed free rein here...Our own individual perception is the nearest can we get in trying to describe something as truthfully as we can...a thousand myriad perceptions for a thousand people....
An interesting topic..interestingly written...

I'm not sure of what this is about, but I guess you have reasons to write this. Thank you for sharing!
