After a shower

When I feel refreshed.

I sit at my computer

And hope a thought will mesh.

Happens everyday

Don't know where

They come from

And don't give a tinker's care.

Just feed me the lines

And I will willingly type

The nonsense contained

In a lot of tripe with no hype.

Now and then I'm happy

With what's been passed my way.

Be kinda lost without it,

As most days, have nothing to say.

Knowing what it is, it's hard to eat tripe. But your poems are easy to swallow.

Yeah, you've always got to make yourself happy first. Forget about everything else.

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
