The sandwich was perfect,
Just the right amount of mustard
On a hero I munched down at half time.
What a game, a few surprises,
But the score was my delight.
The team I bet on won, pocket now full,
Topped it off with a coke
To ease a mouthful down.
Seems you can't beat this.
Been doing it since a kid.
Yes there were sports,
Way back then.
Even played as a half back,
That's what they called it then.
Ran like a deer, got a busted leg too.
What an interception
When a score was expected.
Tough to lose, but great to win.

The halftime show was super, especially the animated tiger and the colorful electronic floor even though Lenny sang a song I didn't recognize and the rapper wasn't impressive.
I munched on one half of a five dollar Taco Cabana beef burrito, washed down with fresh squeezed lemonade spiked with Jim Beam. It doesn't get any better than that.
