Escaping the humdrum Of life less exciting, No longer have i a mate To give me love and solace. Modern medicine and operations Have kept me alive so far. Now in my nineties Wondering when I will go. Yes, a humdrum life, Far from my youth filled days. Yet it can be exciting. I can paint a picture. I can sail the seven seas, Recount what I've done. There is no end to life, On a sea that carries me.
