A smile is always welcome
When you meet a friend or two.
Just may be a mask but otherwise true .
I seldom wear a frown when out on the town.
Seems such a waste to have to place
On a mug that is rarely blue or sad.
Oh I have had those days full of tears
That came from a broken heart.
But time erases the sad days with new.
