A Wish

How high is the sky
That my wishes must travel?
Are they beyond the realm
Of what reality seems to be?

We can wish with might
But it has no bearing
On how quickly
They may be answered.

For a wish is but a wish
And can never be more.
It must be put into action
For it to promise more.
