I bumped into a woman

As I was entering a building.

I excused myself and was sorry

She smiled and went her way.

Several days later

As I opened the door

Of the cab I was in

I hit the same lady.

This time I almost

Knocked her down.

She looked at me

With anger but accepted

My apology and went her way.

I was at a party that week

And low and behold

There was that woman.

She smiled and waved to me.

I asked her for a dance

And she granted me one,

We became fast friends

So much so that I married her.
