Married Her

She had her pick of guys

And was never without a date.

Her figure and looks insured

This for a very long time.

 

One day she said yes

When I asked her for a date.

It was the beginning of a courtship

That would last on and off for seven years.

She was going on 13 and I was 15 when we first met so it seems like a look time but a war got in the way.
