The street was narrow in France

So that you had to give way

If someone was coming towards you

Or you would bump into them.

Narrow streets on a rainy day

Are most foreboding at night.

Women usually didn't go out,

Too scarry for them or dangerous.

It seems I met a brave one

And she almost knocked me down.

Her thoughts were elsewhwere,

As she collided with me.

It led to a wonderful relationship,

And eventually to bed.

We were each others first,

But that didn't last, as we had many.

Not scary at all… Fortuitous! You both were charting foreign territory for the very first time. Simply wonderful.

Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
