My Dog Toby

My dog Toby is a great companion. He sits by me all day when I'm home alone. He never tires of my companionship. No, not Toby, my good dog. But when my daugher comes home, Toby is estatic and greets her with kisses galore. She is his master and he loves her much more. I guess I have to be happy for the company he gives me.

I guess Toby knows who is top dog. My ex had a spoiled little Tobias McCracken McMuffin, usually called, Toby. Although he tolerated me. He knew his master was. Screaming whenever he took off on one of his rampages and I had to go scoop them up and take him away from the girls.

Pets are so funny, they know and choose their own masters. Some you stay with them all day, but they only treat you like you're their servants and you need to cater to their demands. When they say "Feed Me" you better get their food bowls ready, or they'll never leave you alone.
