It is with much gratitude
that I sit in solitude
and reflect
upon the divinity
which I have discovered as my own,
and I must exhaust it from its stowed up vault
with which it cannot sleep,
from which it continues as sporadic impulse
so to dance among the shadows
of the moon.
Come to me.
Comfort me,
from this anxiousness
which will not cease to move in me,
which will not
by day or night or sleep
let up
I cannot remain.
Earth revolves
and I feel it
I feel its slightest movement
under me,
I cannot walk straight
or hold myself straight
or know of dying
or may I un-end
the frivolous action
by which one day
I will conquer,
but for now I must sit in content’s foreglow
believing that I may one day
