My skin blushes
azure
there are peacock feathers
in my matted curls
jeweled bangles
and ankle bracelets
chant Your divine Name
and the melody of Your
bewitching flute
possesses my ears
These feet long to roam
o’re the sylvan rolling
hills of Vrindavin
and rest under
honey soaked
clouds that
describe Your glory
Keshava
along the high mountain ridges
our hearts have mingled like
the sacred river Yamuna
and the holy Ganges
rushing passionately
towards each other
Hi Dear Ron
Sri Krishna's coloring is generally depicted as blue toned. The poem was attempting to convey the rapturous divine reflection of Him in myself and any other devotee.
Have a happy, blue sky day. :)
