I do not love the poor and downtrodden. I hate the circumstances that put some people there. And I want to help them. However, if they got there through very bad behavior (that sometimes happens to the rich and greedy) I find it hard to be compassionate. With me it is very important that I get to know the individual before I can provide the kind of help they need. Praying for and loving the downtrodden will not help them. Action will.
