Ecstatic Nature Poems
The fairy in our lil' gem magnolia tree has been laid to rest We will no longer celebrate with her under the rippling white cape of star blossoms and sultry gypsie skies Nor will we taste and inhale the nectar gushing from her flying saucer cups Sleep lil' angel melt into the fecund earth thou wilt surely return as a flower? insect? or perhaps a bonnie maiden

Hi Ron
Yes, mourning the beautiful magnolia.
We haven't chopped her down yet, waiting a bit
but she looks quite spent. On a brighter note,
my grandson Sean helped me plant Oriental lilies
today by the angel statue near our rose trellis,
very special.

I always thought that fairies, generally being ethereal, could easily escape death even though in this case, apparently her host, they magnolia tree, bit the dust.
