Ahhh...
Night blooming jasmine
memories of India....
Village women with
jasmine garlands in their hair
and baskets
line the Ashram walls
selling sweet blossoms
rose and marigolds
woven like fragrant jewels
into long rosaries
adorn images and idols
of gods and goddesses
golden pollen dyes
the air sweet
kum kum dots and
white stripes bless our foreheads
music of ankle bells
and cosmic chants
circumambulate Temple shrines
