|
Love bugs float
near my lips
wrapped in ecstasy
I blow them a kiss
there are brown pods
all over the earth
I walk near the Magnolia tree
robed in those pods
bright blood red seeds
spill from them
into my hands
yes! I think to myself
clasping the seeds to my
heart
with happy abandon
I'm going to plant
a Queen Magnolia tree!
