My head on Your lap
in the gossamer hours
of the morning
smiling up at You
like a shy giddy fawn
droplets of love cascade
gentle sounds of rain
in a secluded forest
smell of wet earth
intoxicates our nostrils
my heart trembles
and calls to You
a wild bird with scarlet plumage
rising from the depths
I am a drunken orchid
full of perfume
amethyst peacock petals
blossoming at
