My beauties gaze up
at me so thankfully
garnet pink petals ruffling blithely
opulent yellows, Doris Day daisies,
ambrosial fields of lavender,
petite penta starlets in ballet slippers,
and of course our darling
baby geraniums
I can hear the happy laughter
of flowers in the gentle
autumn breeze
as I feed, nourish them
with plenty of love and
refreshing water from the
sacred bosom of the Earth
