What a sweet refuge surrounded by noble green guardians, blissful breezes and deep peace I am thankful for this sanctuary Krishna blue skies peek through sprawling branches and if I am very still I can hear angels, gandharvas chanting the sacred Om Gently I breathe in through one nostril and out through the other as the breath repeats..... I am He I am He I am He "Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba proclaimed that Omkar is the correct address of the Lord and we get Self-realization by chanting Om. Om, also called Pranava is the primordial sound that indicates Brahman, the supreme reality that is beyond name, form, attributes, time, space, and causation." Chanting certainly rids our brain of many thoughts that may be conflicting and provides a kind of white noise that can be peaceful and relaxing. But over time, chanting the same phrase may occupy too much of the brain's and interfere with logical thought rather than improve it.
