My tears have turned
into sunset streams
reflecting the amber beauty
of Surya
Song rises from my heart
and rides on the galloping
stallion winds of Vayu
A carpet of fragrant flowers
bloom from my skin
I offer them all at the feet
of my Mother Earth
I lay my head on
Her soft downy lap
This body composed
of the five elements
is a gift from nature
and I am very grateful
It's been my
constant companion
all my life and I pray
that when I have to let go
of its hand
the shadow of fear
will not cross my path
as I ascend with my beloved
to incandescent golden worlds
