I left the Earth for a few moments...
and all it's opposing forces
clash of light and dark
suffocating snake hold of ego
crushing, bruising body attachments
this feeling of “mine”
so hard to release and
yet so ephemeral
for a few exalted moments
precious jeweled words
of Lord Krishna reciting the Gita
His emphasis on right action,
surrender and love
transported me...
micro glimpses of that
unchanging, unborn,
ungraspable form
with all its multifaceted faces
gleamed deep within me
and far beyond
the dazzling heavens
"You have a right to perform your duty, but never to the fruits of your actions.
Do not be motivated by the results, nor be attached to inaction." Bhagavad Gita 2.47
"Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings;
nor will any of us cease to exist in the future."
Bhagavad Gita 2.12
