I looked into my husband's
thoughtful eyes as we
walked down Perry Street
under venerable, silvern
overcast skies
And said:
Only One exists...
you, me, the endless heavens, flowers,
plants, animals, every heartbeat, every breath,
every laugh, time and beyond time,
Rama our golden cat, All the gods and goddesses
Shimmer forever within Him
Only One exists....
there is nothing outside this
Great Cosmic Self
Only One infinite Luminous Self exists
