Yes we love and enjoy the garden birds. There are blue jays, golden doves,
finches, cardinals, mocking birds or catbirds, ibis, greckles, crows,
occasionally we see blue herons and hawks. One of my all time favorites is the pink spoon bill, but that's a rare sighting.

Yes, the birds know how to stock up when a cold wave sets in. Squirrels in the south, also have to put on a little fat, because unlike their northern counterpart who bury large cashes of food to dig up when the ground is covered with snow, they apparently don't do that.
