A poetic lesson in giving without reward

No charge - Jesus

Is there something inside , that won’t let us abide -- a no charge--

Don’t give up too much, thank you’s not enough -- at no charge--

Wealth is no crime, don’t give away your time-- at no charge--

There’s always a cost , and your good deeds are lost at
----no charge--

A great need is there , and I’ve given my share at ----no charge--

For my help and my aid , will I ever be paid-- for no charge--

And do you think when I’m down, will help come around at ----no charge--

Is there even one , that cares what i’ve done at ----no charge--

Well the answer is found where a life was laid down -- at no charge--

For Gethsemane’s dread and the tears that he shed,--- there’s no charge--

For the thorns and the bleeding , the scorn and the beating ,-- no charge

For the wounds to his hands, his feet and his side,-- there’s no charge--

For the torture and crying and agony of dying – no charge--

And hung to a cross, where his life’s blood was lost - there’s no charge--

With his torment at end , gave his life for my sin-- at no charge--

When you add all above the full cost of his love is-- No Charge--
