Elusive one…She
Who sits in her castle Errant knights all below Empty armor strewed about Moat filled with the corpses of those who have tried before me
Possessive one…She
For whom warriors battle Few of which ever catch her glance Capturing men’s souls gently Enticing them with all that is lovely
Intrusive one…She
Who tames the birds of prey Cages the beasts of the field
Countless fools throw poetry like lances at one another Their folly bringing laughter to her lips Reaching up to her from the banks of this moat Struggling not to slip into the putrid waters below Not to float with the other corpses Who dared to love the elusive one
Closing my eyes…Me
Straining with my ears to hear her voice To hear my name as she beckons me to come To dine with her, drink with her, dance with her To stay with her till morning light
Holding her lies…Me
Called out to defend my night with the princess Anxious knights clamor below me The shrieking of the falcons above me Challenging me for a moment alone with the elusive one
This symbolistical composition is a combination of impressionism
and surrealism painted with the "brushwords" of an Artist-Poet that
knows how to choreograph the quills' dance to apply the lexicon that
depicts his visions.
"Success" mixed the images from medieval times to today´s psycho-social illusions, and entwined a positive message:"DARE TO BE GREATER"; and its closing lines polished the whole picture, giving
THE AMERICAN FINE LETTERS, this unique masterpiece for the beauty
and proudness of THE MAJOR ART.
