~~you know what i mean...don't you?~~
Loneliness I know the dark one named alone I know his lure I know his smile I know his whisper in the edge of night He sings softly to me from the drains on busy streets He whistles at me from airport storage rooms He calls for me in the alley behind the mall A song, a dance, a life A chance to capture myself In perfect harmony with my mirror Me and my shadow Happy Free From the hustle...the bustle The rats who are racing whose steps keep retracing The path of the lemmings that have risen to new heights before us Oh come with me, my love Come with me, and together we will be alone

Loneliness, how do you get to be happy again. It know it is quite hard. We put on a good show and say we are alright, but are we? No I'm not, i need my Lord and Savior to help me fight this loneliness even today.

It seems that most poets have at least one poem by this name, do we all feel the pangs of loneliness, I suppose? An excellent rendering Ed, and thanks for the comment on my recent poem as well...Peace thru Faith, Ed & Rufuz

You've got a special way of looking at loneliness as something to be sought? Being alone and feeling alone are so different. I never hate my own company; which to me is what being lonely does. It is when I alone that I hear the Voice of God. When I am lonely,I hear the voice of man. Bill
