I am the wind and the water
I am the smoke, and I am rain
I am the love of my sister
Who helped me overcome my pain

I am the wish that she were still here
I am the sibling who showed her hope
I am the salt in ev'ry single tear
She shed when she could not quite cope

I am the music that she shared
I am the yang to her sweet yin
I am the mem'ry for which she cared
The one who's honored to call her kin.

[For my sister, Peggy Jean [Mason Wilson] Powers, born November 16, 1960, died May 1984, age 23. Children: April Michelle Wilson, James William Wilson, Lindsay Gene Powers. Peggy, I love you, and I still miss you terribly! - Love, Jeff]

no matter what they say, one never can get over the death of a loved one! the years pass, but the pain is still there! it's been nearly 14 years since i lost my mom; it will be four more days and it will be 14 years since my mom died. i still miss her as much now as i did back then when she first passed on!

A loving tribute! It's very difficult to lose one so young, and a beloved sister, my thoughts and prayers go out to you Jeff. No matter how long it is we never forget our loved ones.
