Why you,
Why me?

Whatever happened...
to the way we were supposed to be?

When we knew...
the meaning of eternity...

When we had...
such a burning intensity...

Why this,
Why here,
Why now?

Whatever happened...
to our love... that was a sacred vow?

When we felt...
that hope was so much more
than just a dream we could allow

When we touched...
with passion that was deep
without an end we could endow

Why us,
Why you,
Why me?

Whatever happened...
to the way we were supposed to be?

Well, a question I can rely to.
Everything seems perfect, as meant to be. And then something changes we don't don't understand the world anymore.
Maybe we will one day.
Maybe not.

Beautiful and very expressive.
I find it melancholy, the words. What music were you going to set it too? Just curious. I usually hit the keys manually on the piano till something comes up, I have only writtgen about 3 songs myself.
