revealed (from Laid bare - by Chanti)

Chanti, thanks for that poem "Laid bare;" it truly inspired me.

Inspired by Chanti's beautiful poem: Click here to read Chanti's poem: Laid bare

if by chance
you laid your passions bare,
or if by chance
you stopped thinking
for awhile;

dearest love, you know ...
that i would still...
be there

opened by your words,
rapt with your sweet guile;

unable to conceal
a single thought
that i would feel...

for unto you,
my heart is borne
upon the warmth
of sacred morn,

and unto you
i would reveal
deepest places
i fear to share

for i know...
the blood
that is my love
is safe within
your hands that care.

Dear Jeff,
I am so honoured that you chose to write a poem in response to mine. It is quite something to think that my words might have inspired you. Your poem is far better than mine ever was but this is fantastic because I have learnt something.
Thanks again
In admiration...Chanti

hey Jeff neat job this poem leaves me with a sense of belonging tenderness, and almost a sacredness. I did read the poem that inspired you to do this, and I have to agree it is a most lucid piece, thanks Al
