where do i turn to now?
where can i run to?
i'm all out of hope
and i'm all out of tears.

maybe once upon a time
i knew how...
to hold on to my dreams;
to stare down all my fears...

life was just a silly rhyme;

but then I felt it all...
drift away
like waterfalls
in distant streams;

i felt the walls begin to crumble;
lost my focus;

faded fast;

your voice a distant rumble;
vivid tremor
from the past...

i've lost my way...
and i just don't know
if i should stay
or i should go...

but i've come
to a place
where i just can't erase
the demons
that your shadows cast

and i've found
a truth
i should have known

that even love...

doesn't always last.

good one Jeff, get your helmet on, crash proof, losing love isn't the worst thing we can write about, true or untrue. Right now I wish love was the only thing I had to write about losing.Wish I could write this high blood pressure, high cholestrol and all these poison pills I have to take off. G
