I love the progression in this subtle. seductive write...from dream to reality, from imagination to experience, the poem breathe's life into it's charachters and the reader.

Well, what a way to meet you, Jeff! Can see I have a lot of catching up to do! This is one of the most elegant, and sharply defined yet melting depictions of the soulmates' complementary and completing symbiosis that I have read. This goes beyond a "slotting into place and making perfect" into a transcendent 3-D transformation that makes such a union almost mythical and of epic proportions. Guess THIS is what is meant by "passion in extremis"; one that not only brings a person to their most highly developed self, but raises the bar in relation to bringing their partner to the same, so that both are enhanced to their uttermost. In terms of eternity, this reaches both forward and back, and that is what makes it especially like the sentiments expressed by the Great Classicists, who had a handle on such things. Impressed is an understatement! Am keeping to refer to when I come to consider the topic of my MA course manuscript later this year, if you don't mind! TY so much. Kate

Jeff, this is fantastic. I get a sense of almost a religious experience when I read it... this awe-inspiring oneness between two individuals through words and thought and a world in between... the title works very well. ;)
