Jeff...this is a captivating moment in time...intense in the passion these two share in the silence of their stare or the shared slow-heat in the midst of the Arctic blow. ...and the abrupt change...almost as though there is a change of characters and the reader is forced to snap out of that dream state into a reality of chill and disillusionment..."a daring mockery of Spring" when there should be warmth and rebirth as the reader is once again led to the vision of want and one who took him there before..."true reprieve".

Quite an enveloping tale from intensity to chill and, in cycle, back again. Your style is uniquely you, Jeff, and your point cones shining through. We need to see more of you here.
