What's the Matter With Me?

I know I’m not Mr. Perfect; My body’s not the greatest thing;
My mind is not the sharpest tack; I know that I can’t sing.
But you chose me, so quit looking… at all those other guys;
What’s the matter with me? Am I just the loser’s prize?
You keep me down and dirty, beneath the radar screen;
When I come to find you, you’re never on the scene.
You told me that you loved me, once upon a time.
What’s the matter with me? Am I not worth a dime?
It seems I’m never good enough… to be with you my dear,
Whenever I try to talk to you, you never seem to hear.
You made me love you, now you ignore me; what’s a guy to do?
I guess that what I have to offer really just won’t do.
What’s the matter with me?
Tell me darling, won’t you please, before you walk away?
What’s the matter with me? Am I not the flavor of the day?
