The poem says it all. We've all been there. This was Donna. She was 'untouchable.'

There you stand, tossing your hair about,
smiling, laughing, talking -- oblivious to me.
You're my obsession, but I'm just an object;
a buoy at sea, somewhere in the fuzzy edges
of your peripheral vision.
Every time that you move ... or look my way,
I just ... can't ... breathe!
You know what? I notice EVERYTHING about you!
I notice the way the light reflects off your
teeth when you laugh and smile. I notice the glint of golden sunlight in your hair. I notice the flecks
of brown and gold honey that drip on me from your eyes,
whenever I'm fortunate enough that you glance my way.
I notice the timbre of your voice. I notice the way
your chest moves when you breathe. I notice the shape
of your body; your face; every curve; every trace.
I notice the graceful flow of your hands and fingers.
Your presence upon my mind -- it CONSTANTLY lingers...
I notice the shape of your lips;
so inviting.
I notice the way that you walk;
so exciting.
I choke when I am near you;
Paralyzed -- when I hear you.
I SEE you,
but I just... can't ...
TOUCH you!

Not exactly what I'd anticipate for a Pink Floyd fan :-P, (smile), still this side of your experience is a perfect read for those out of touch with soulmates.

This is a common feeling, and it's said well. It really hurts when it happens.
Excellant expression on this one!

I just SEE Donna in my mind, and I remember EVERY little thing
about her; how I felt back then. She was always "just beyond my
reach." -- And, it was sooo darned FRUSTRATING !!!
You spoke my mind in this one Jeff!!
Tell me...how you did it!!
Love Tinka
