I said it's an "un"-poem -- NOT a poem; anti-poem, if you will. Unsatisfied?
The Un-written News
As reported by an Unidentified Underground Reporter
Undercover agents have discovered that unallocated Superfund money
has been unethically spent by unruly, uneducated politicians on
unauthorized and unannounced underwear purchases; undoubtedly an
unpopular move. Repercussions are uncertain at this ungodly hour. It is
unknown how long the fallout will remain undetermined. "Unbelievable!"
shouted one underling, as he uncovered yet more unsavory facts during the
unseating of his uncooperative boss. Though unrelated, the unusual results
of this unprecedented probe are expected to undulate unfettered throughout
the underworld, causing a great unsettling; possibly a rift in the underpinnings.
One undaunted politician was quoted as saying, "Unless the underlying causes
of these unfounded accusations are fully unearthed, the untold damage cannot
be undone. Unfortunately, this is unlike anything we have yet seen; therefore,
it is unlikely we will emerge unscathed." Meanwhile, the unhappy politicians
will continue to make unscheduled appearances at unspecified intervals in
undisclosed locations; unseen by all.
