In worn and torrid waters,
a single rose there seen -
red -
and alone;
among the tattered wreckage
from battlements
well-fought;
taut;
yet unparalleled in its
deliciously-scented beauty;
sanctified in its aloneness,
fraught --
with subtly irresistible magnetism
eyes drawn to petal's purpose;
brought;
into the realm of the thorn;
torn
pricked -- by sudden,
fatal beauty
dying with indescribable pleasure
within the crux
of her concentric
swirling
bloom.

Wen I first saw this laced into the comment, I said, this is a not a comment this is beautiful poetry, and while reading, it ust got so deep, these ideas you spell forth; this -
eyes drawn to petal's purpose;
brought
was about as good as you could get, for the picks of the rose (herself) there so felt,
and I thoght the rest of the poem dealt with our getting lost in such - beauty, ie the rose and her stem just gobble us alive
