Crawling, sprawling on concrete Scrapped, chaffed knees Upon cruel endless street Thrash! smash reality! Voice, nonsense invade ears Oceans of notions Nails grind, crumbling tears Smearing Lips, Red Shredding, Worldly Clothes Dirt, where Dirt Should Be Ground upon Black, Molding Tree Sky Shakes, Heavens Roar Rolling Spikes, Bloody Floor Rake it in, Dish it Out Fallen Chair of devout

Sometimes the hour tolls our particular emotion. This is a spur of the moment type of poem with some long term problems chewing around the edges. Feeling bruised and bloody from unvoiced emotions you express them with a series of odd and disturbing images. I did things like this years ago. Back when I thought people cared. The best value for writing styles like this is the ability to voice such startling images, which only strike a chord if the reader has some empathy or comes from a similar state of angst. I do like the images of skys shaking and the heavens roaring figuatively. Bob
