Those who do not write from the heart are the fakes. Write on, Kathy, and right from the heart!

Popularity isn't what it's cracked up to be. And I don't like coping because it basically means "holding off the devil" instead of taking positive action to avoid having to cope altogether.

Writing certainly is an outlet for what's on our minds. It can also be enlightening for others. Most progress in this world has come from what has been written. I would only hope, regardless of what people think of me, that what I've written will help human progress.

I think, if I may, pretty much concur with your words and thoughts here. I have pretty much been a guy who didn't cuddle up to the in crowd, although I admit that there were certain people I wanted to impress. That is just a basic human trait, to want someone you admire to look favorably upon you. Still, if they refused my offered hand, I learned early on that it was their loss, not mine. I like most of you poetry, Kathy, it sets my mind to thinking, and THAT is a good thing.
